The Harmony of Scent
The sense of smell is perhaps the sense that is the most intimate of all. A certain scent can instantly evoke emotion and memory. It is closely connected to the deepest layers of ourselves.
Blending essential oils is like composing music. The different fragrances combined together are like a musical accords. The notes go into one another, contrast each other to create a magnificent whole. There are base notes, top notes and middle notes. The more you blend the more your nose becomes accustomed to what fragrances go well together. You learn the harmony of the scents. I have been mixing oils for years. Out of the blends I can make anything, like lotion bars, shower gel, fragrant sprays. But it wasn't until recently that I came up with the idea of creating a specific scent for a book. |
Pure Poetry
The thought of a full sensory experience was captivating and I created a perfumed oil specifically for each book in the poetry trilogy The Golden Passage. I put it on my wrists and smell. It instantly makes me happy. I call them Pure Poetry Collection.
If you want to try the scent and books they are for sale on Etsy. Perfect for both men and women. |
